Bathroom fit-out

Türkiye's bathroom sector is large and uneven: real factories with their own cutting, edging and finishing lines, and small workshops that assemble ready-made panels and sell them under the same label. The difference shows in none of it — not the showroom, not the catalogue — but in board thickness, the edge banding and how well it is bonded, how the hinges run, and whether the finish holds through the first damp winter. Those are exactly the points we fix in writing before production and check ourselves before loading.

What this area covers

The items we supply in this area

The list below shows what we handle regularly; it is not exhaustive. If the item you are after is not listed, send it to us and we will go and find its factory on the ground.

FURNITURE

Bathroom furniture and cabinets

Wall-hung and floor-standing vanity units, mirror cabinets and side columns. Turkish factories typically build an 18 mm carcass with 16 mm doors, but the word “wood” on a quotation is not a specification: we ask for the board type, its thickness and the covering method — membrane, lacquer or veneer — written into the offer. And the first thing to fail in a bathroom is the edge banding when it is poorly bonded, not the board itself.

ACCESSORIES

Bathroom accessories

Towel and soap holders, hooks, waste bins, shower columns and full sets in a single finish. For anything in constant contact with water we specify 304 stainless steel, not “stainless” in general — the difference from lower grades is invisible on delivery and shows as rust spotting after a few months in a humid room.

MIRRORS

Mirrors and lighting units

Mirrors with integrated LED lighting, anti-fog mirrors, and lighting units above vanities. Voltage, colour temperature and the moisture protection rating are settled before pricing, not after — changing them once production has run means units that cannot be used.

GLASS

Shower enclosures and glass

Enclosures in tempered glass with aluminium or stainless profiles. Six millimetres is common for residential use and eight for hospitality, and the tempering stamp is etched into the corner of the pane — we photograph it as part of the inspection report. Size and opening type are fixed in the purchase order before production starts, because changing them afterwards means remanufacturing.

Before we start

What we need from you, and what we check on your behalf

What we need to start pricing

The clearer the request, the sharper the shortlist and the closer the offer to what you actually want.

  • The item and the sizes you need, in centimetres
  • Fixing type: wall-hung or floor-standing
  • Colour and finish, ideally with a colour code
  • Approximate quantity per item and colour
  • Whether this is for one project or for resale
  • Approximate budget per unit

What we check before loading

An on-site inspection of the actual goods, and a photographic report in your hands before the container leaves the factory.

  • Board type and thickness against the purchase order
  • Edge banding adhesion, particularly at the corners
  • Hinges and drawers operated after full assembly
  • Glass thickness, with the tempering stamp photographed
  • Surfaces free of scratches before packing
  • Reinforced corners and internal foam in the packing
  • Actual count against the packing list

The points we do not leave to the factory's judgement

These are the source of most problems in this category. We fix them in the purchase order before production starts, so they become a reference in any dispute rather than a matter of what was said on the phone.

PointWhy it matters
Board type and thickness“Wood” is not a specification — the difference shows in the price and in the first damp season
Covering: membrane or lacquerDetermines the surface, the price, and whether it can be repaired later
Edge banding typeThe most common failure point in a bathroom, and the cheapest line item to overlook
Final dimensionsA centimetre out and the unit will not sit on the wall
Colour by code“White” alone has shades, and the difference shows once the pieces sit side by side
Glass thickness and tempering stampNo stamp means untempered glass, whatever the offer says
Production lead timeMost factories work to order, not from finished stock
Packing methodMost damage in this category happens in transit, not at the factory
